Boredom Flies Down (2013)

A chandelier-like mobile work composed of words meaning "boredom" — such as "Boring," "Tedious," and "Humdrum" — rendered as logos in the style of black metal.

Album covers in the extreme music genre often feature the band's logo proudly emblazoned across the upper half of a square. Since the theme of my practice is "boredom," I thought it would be fitting to have the word "boredom" proudly displayed above the exhibition space, and so I created this work.
